About me
Mr. Monette was appointed Senior Director of Radio-Canada Libraries and Archives in 2014 after holding a number of leadership positions in the areas of client service and process and operations management. With 20 years’ experience, he is responsible for overseeing the department’s transformation to digital via AI tools and other innovation initiatives; supervising the implementation of an integrated content management system for French Services; leading a Canada-wide project to digitize 800,000 hours of content; managing over 1.4 million heritage items as part of the broadcaster’s relocation in 2020; supporting content management at 18 regional stations; and developing a cross-platform strategy to promote the archives to general audiences.
