AMIRA ARRATIA, Head of the Chilean National Television Documentation Center, Librarian with a degree from the University of Chile, specializes in Audiovisual Archives. She has worked at the TVN Archive since its inception in 1973 and assumed its leadership position in 1976, a position she currently holds.She has been a permanent and active member of FIAT/IFTA (International Federation of Television Archives) since 1979, having been elected its Latin American Delegate from 2004 to 2016 and a Member of the UNESCO Memory of the World National Committee for Chile since 2015.She has completed advanced studies at IORTV Spain, the Spanish Television Documentation Center, Rede Globo Brazil, CETE Mexico City, and the INA in Paris, France.She has presented at seminars on audio-visual archives in several countries, especially in Latin America and Europe.Author of the document "Vision of the Future": Design of a Documentation Center for the New MillenniumShe currently leads the project to digitize the TVN Audiovisual Archive.
