Anaclara Talento Acosta, MFAUruguay, 1988.Post Contemporary artist, researcher, and archival specialist. Bachelor's and Master's of Arts – Plastic and Visual Arts (Uruguayan University of the Republic - UdelaR. National School of Fine Arts Institute - IENBA, 2007 – 2016). Master's in Fine Arts (MFA) (Norwegian University of Science and Technology - NTNU, Trondheim Academy of Fine Arts - KiT, 2017 - 2019). Archival specialist in audiovisual collections (French National Audiovisual Institute – INA, FIAT/IFTA, EBU, 2024). Member of the Contemporary Art Foundation (FAC) in Uruguay since 2007, member of the Artistic Research Society (SAR) since 2017, member of the decolonial arts education research and practice group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology - NTNU in Norway since 2021, and member of the International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA) since 2024.Her work revolves around the artistic projects EMH: An Essay on Motherland History, Pink Mist, Letters to Sebastian, Love in Another Language, Flames Go to Heaven to Die, and Privately Buried Publicly Erased, and the curatorial projects Latin American Office of Contemporary Art and Political Subversion (OLAC SP), Rejected Again, and FAC Archive.Lives and works in La Floresta - Canelones, Uruguay.
