About me
Diana Cardozo is a historian specializing in media studies and Latin American history. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT) and is currently pursuing a master's degree in journalism at LA NACION / UTDT.She works as a research assistant at the Digital History Lab (UTDT), where she conducts archival research, selects audiovisual materials, and supports public and digital history projects. Her research focuses on the history of television and transmedia content. Her study of Rede Globo in the 1970s, analyzing the intersections between television, music, press, and film industries, was presented at the Centro de Estudios Económicos de la Empresa y el Desarrollo (CEEED), Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).She is the creator of Televisar la Dictadura, a digital platform that explores the historical memory of dictatorships in Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, and Argentina through archival television and is forthcoming in the UTDT Library.
