About me
She holds a degree in History, with specializations in Archival Science and Cultural Project Management. Since 2004, she has worked in the fields of education and collection preservation. She has been working at the Cinemateca Brasileira for 21 years. During the period when the Cinemateca was closed (2020–2021), she actively participated in efforts to reopen the institution and to strengthen the Sociedade Amigos da Cinemateca, a non-profit organization that, since 2022, has been responsible for managing and rebuilding the Cinemateca Brasileira, Brazil’s leading audiovisual institution. In 2022, she became the institution’s Technical Director, overseeing its main areas of activity: film preservation, the documentation center, programming and access, and the image and sound laboratory. She has been designing and coordinating projects to restore and disseminate important film and television collection.
