Eduardo Calvet is a researcher in audiovisual narrative and holds a Master’s degree in Creative Media (PPGMC) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). His academic practice centers on the relationship between editing, memory, and archival images as tools for constructing audiovisual heritage.His filmography consists entirely of archive-driven documentaries, including Luz Anima Ação (2013), a feature documentary on the history of Brazilian animation, and Cine Metro – Immersive Experience (2021), an immersive documentary exploring new forms of documentary representation and virtual heritage.Alongside his academic activities, he has worked for over 20 years as a Trailer and Promo Editor at TV Globo, contributing to the development of promotional campaigns for television, entertainment, and major sporting events. His professional practice directly informs his research on editing, narrative construction, and the use of archival images in audiovisual communication.
