About me
My professional journey was built at TV Globo, where I started as an intern and eventually became General Manager of the Documentation Center. I led the shift from a physical archive to a digital system and, together with the technology team, developed a real-time recording and archiving workflow for major sports events such as the World Cup and the Olympics, making content immediately available to newsroom teams. I established a structured system for handling research requests, supporting both internal TV needs and external audiences across culture, public relations, and academia. In 1996, I was part of the team that launched Globo Group's documentary division, creating the weekly show "Arquivo N" on the GloboNews pay channel. I represented TV Globo on the FIAT/IFTA Executive Council from 2012 to 2016, organizing a session of the “Media Management Commission” seminar in Rio de Janeiro.
Since 2017, I’ve been a founding partner of Garimpo, a company specializing in management, audiovisual curation, production, and archival research. I provided consulting services to the Documentation Center at TV Cultura in São Paulo, and during that time, I organized a FIAT/IFTA seminar, which was likely one of the world’s first online events, as we were caught mid-production by the coronavirus pandemic. I serve as Executive Director of PAVIC Researchers in Audiovisual, Iconography, and Content for the 2026-2027 term, as well as an Independent associate member of FIAT/IFTA.
