About me
Associate Professor in the Film and Audiovisual program at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and in the Graduate Program in Cinema and Audiovisual (PPGCine-UFF). He conducts research in the History of Brazilian Cinema, Audiovisual Preservation, and Moving Image Technologies. He is the coordinator of the University Laboratory for Audiovisual Preservation (LUPA-UFF). He coordinates the project “Preservation and Digitization of Amateur Films from Rio de Janeiro State”, listed in UFF’s Social Technologies catalog (2022). He is a Research Productivity Fellow of CNPq (2023–2026). He is a member of the Executive Committee of Domitor, the International Society for the Study of Early Cinema (2023–2025). Since 2025, he has been the coordinator of INCT PreRes (National Institute of Science and Technology in Audiovisual Preservation and Restoration).
